King Norodom Sihamoni has pardoned Sivarak Chutipong, a Thai engineer who was sentenced to seven years in jail in Cambodia for spying flight plans of ex-Thai PM Thaksin Shinawatra.
Government spokesman Khieu Kanharith said Thai national Sivarak would be released from prison Monday following his pardon by King Norodom Sihamoni.
Sivarak last week was sent to seven years in jail and fined of Bt100,000 for spying.
