Pattaya Immigration arrested Viagra dealer
PATTAYA CITY: -- On 22 September 2006, at 01.00 a.m. Police General Ittipol Ittisaranchai, Chief of Pattaya Immigration Department, Police Lieutenant General Thanaphan Promsuk together with team of Officers arrested Mr. Geisler Heinz Robery, aged 50, German Nationality in front of Hous Munchen restaurant, in Pattaya Naklua Road.
Police General Ittitpol of the Pattaya Immigration Department received a report from an undercover officer that a foreigner named Mr. Geisler who’s making monkey business on Viagra pills in the city.
“His action is against the law of Public Health Department” said Police General Ittitpol. So he instructed his officer to do further investigation.
It was found out that Mr. Geisler is staying in one of the Hotels in South Pattaya.
Police immediately set up a negotiation with the undercover pretending as a buyer of Viagra to Mr. Geisler.
They made contact with him to buy the drugs Viagra both pills and gel for 6,000 Baht. Police recorded the numbers on the bank notes used for the purchase. Mr. Geisler contacted the undercover officer and asked him to pick up the drugs in from of Hous Munchen, after the undercover paid the money police arrested him right on the actual scene
He was arrested with evidence in hand carrying sex-stimulating drugs 100 bags of Viagra, gale type for external application and 20 boxes of Viagra pills and a set of document an advertisement for online purchase.
He was accused for “selling modern medicine without permit”.
Upon questioning Mr. Geisler he bluntly told the police that Thai man needs to increase their sexual activeness, and Viagra is the best stimulation which is very expensive in Germany. But in Thailand the drugs pills or gel that are on sale in the Pharmacies are much cheaper, therefore he came up with an idea to sell Viagra and Kamagra via the internet to foreigners for them to make order on line.
He added that he has been doing it for a long time, buying that drugs in the pharmacy.
Mr. Geisler claimed that he didn’t know that too much possession of the drugs for sale is illegal in Thai law.
Police informed that what he did was illegal and it is not allowed to possess too much of the pills for sale, and the penalty for that is 5 years in jails and fine not more than 10,000 Baht or both fine and jail.
The Immigration Officer escorted Mr. Geisler to the Pattaya Police Station for further legal actions.
