ich habe hier mal eine Zusammenfassung, ausschliesslich zur Wasserlage, von heute.
*21^st OCTOBER 2011* * * *_TRAVEL ALERT:_** **/remains unchanged/**__* ALL EU MS advise their citizens to monitor closely the situation giving the sources of information (e.g. disaster center, local media, etc); Embassies receive few calls regarding the flooding. *_AFFECTED EU CITIZENS_** /remains unchanged/__* Few EU citizens seeking advice on the situation and assistance in visa related matters. *_WEATHER FORECAST_* /metrological department/ The northeast monsoon remains across the Gulf of Thailand and southern Thailand. Scattered to fairy widespread rain are likely in southern east-coast with isolated heavy rain. CENTRAL: Widely scattered thundershower mostly in Ayutthaya, Nakhon Pathom, Samut Songkhram, Ratchaburi and Kanchanaburi. Fairly widespread rain with heavy to very heavy rainfall in some areas mainly in the lower portion. Flood remained in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Ang Thong, Sara Buri, Lop Buri, Uthai Thani, Sing Buri, and Nakhon Sawan provinces. During 20^th ?? 25^th October - Partly cloudy and isolated light rain. _ _ _Bangkok: _ During 20^th ?? 26^th October - Partly cloudy and isolated to widely scattered heavy rain throughout the period. *_OVERALL SITUATION_** (see MAP no 1)__* 1. 28 affected provinces in Thailand (please see the map: แผนที่พื้นที่ เส้นทางที่ได้รับ ลกระทบ - Thaiflood.com): NORTH: Nakhom Sawan, Phichit, Phitsanulok, Sukhothai, Kampangpetch NORTHEAST: Khon Kaen, Ubon Ratchathani, Srisaket, Surin, Roi-et, Tak, Mahasarakham CENTRAL: Ayutthaya, Ang Thong, Chai Nat, Lopburi, Nakhon Nayok, Nakhom Pathom, Nonthaburi, Samut Sakhon Pathum Thani, Singburi, Suphanburi, Chacheongsao, Ratchaburi, Prachinburi, Uthai Thani, Bangkok 2. The inundation in all the provinces remains mostly at the same level and is likely to decrease with the exception of: Uthai Thani, Buriram, Surin, Sri Saket, Nakhon Ratchasima, Kalasin, Ubon Ratchathani, Chainat, Singburi, Lopburi, Ang Thong, Suphan Buri, Ayutthaya, Saraburi, Pathum Thani, Nonthaburi; 3. The total fatalities are 320 deaths. 4. Major tourist destinations such as: Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Lampang, Sukhothai, Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Pattaya, Ko Chang, Rayong, Phuket, Krabi, Trang, Ko Samui and all provinces in southern Thailand are experiencing normal weather conditions (for Bangkok see: current situation). *_CURRENT SITUATION_** * *_ _* *PROVINCES ON HIGHEST ALERT: * Pathum Thani - evacuated / increasing water - Chachoengsao - flashfloods in Bang Num Preaw, Bang Khla, Khong Khuan - Samut Prakan - flashfloods in Bang Boo, Bang Phli Nakhon Pathom - flashfloods in Amper Song Pee Nong, Bang Len (water increasing 3 - 4 cm each day) Samut Sakhon - flashfloods expected Samut Songkhram - flashfloods expected - Nonthaburi - flashfloods in Bang Bua Thong, Ampeur Maueng /evacuation expected - * * *Bangkok:* *DISTRICTS ON HIGHEST ALERT:* (INFO: BMA 1555)** 1. Lat Krabang 2. Nong Chok 3. Minburi 4. Klong Sam Wa 5. Kan Na Yao 6. Sai Mai 7. Bang Khen 8. Don Mueang (sub-districts Thung Si Khan and Don Mueang) WATER EXPECTED 1 - 1,5 m; no power cut at the moment 9. Laksi (Thung Song Hong) WATER EXPECTED 1 - 1,5 m; no power cut at the moment 10. Bang Phlat 11. Taling Chan 12. Tawi Wattana (for all the districts indication: see the attachment) * * 1. Due the volume and capacity of water it is impossible to redirect its flow or drain it without the impact on the inner Bangkok. *The upcoming weekend (22^nd ?? 23^rd October) shall be on alert and close watch*. Enclosed ?? BMA??s evacuation procedure in case of flooding 2. Continuous flow of the water reveals the increasing trend therefore all the canals in Bangkok have been open particularly Khlong Song, Khlong Maha Sawat and Khlong Thawi Wattana. Currently the water has reached Khlong Rangsit and shall reach Khlong Sam Wa within today. BMA??s operation goal is to push the water to the sea via Khlong Makkasan and Khlong Samsen (see the map below). 3. The water is said to be drained in the control manner however, _due the numerous canals in Bangkok (over 100) it is likely that the drainage shall be done ad hoc and many places will be affected_. 4. The eventual flashfloods are not expected to be severe though in the inner Bangkok, _assuming that there will be no heavy rain_. At the moment, the areas which is expected to be mostly affected is: *Don Muaeng, Laksi,* *Suan Luang* (water by today shall raise up to 1,5 m). Except for the three areas mentioned, it is expected that the water in Bangkok might remain for more than one month until it??s drained. However it will not severely affect the communication and transportation. 5. Metropolitan Electricity Authority has advised to be on ??stand-by?? in case of eventual flooding (hotline: 1130). The power in Bangkok shall be cut off only if the water is over 1 m ?? _this is not expected in the inner Bangkok_. Most buildings in Bangkok have generators, however in case of power shortage it is used for elevators back up and is sufficient for few hours only. Currently there are three areas cut of power: - Bang Bua Thong (Nonthaburi) - INFO 1130 - Pathumthani (only areas where water is above 1 m) ?? INFO 1129 - Ayutthaya (only areas where water is above 1 m) ?? INFO 1129 6. The Metropolitan Waterworks Authority has advised there are 5 points of water quality restoration, via which the flood water from north will be passing. 4 of them are under the close watch (Rangsit, Don Mueang, Prachachuan and Samsen area which is near Kao San Road). There are 7 blockades made in order to prevent the flow of canal water: Khlong Sam Sen, Khlong Bang Khen, Metropolitan Water Authority Headquarters at Bang Khen water point, Khlong Rangsit, Khlong Bang Luang and raw water pumping station. The prevention measures taken are considered usual precautions. So far there is no risk of shortage of tap water or its incapacity. MAP: A ?? Khlong Prapa (Pathum Thani) B ?? Khlong Maha Sawat C ?? The Royal Thai Police has designated 109 parking spaces however _all of them are already full_ and therefore there are cars parked on the express and highways causing traffic congestions. 8. Ministry of Health has advised that so far there is no epidemical threat due to the flooding. However, they are closely monitoring the situation in the affected areas for the occurrence of: pinkeye, measles, diarrhea, leptospirosis, dengue fever, malaria and cold. 9. Warned areas which might be most affected: ** - Chan Rd, Soi Saint Louis and Sathu Pradit (Sathorn) - Phahol Yothin Rd, nearby Klong Sarn Sen and Klong Gang Sue (Phaya Thai) - Sukhumvit Rd.
